Rockford Brewing has been pouring on East Bridge since 2011, in a building that backs onto the Rogue River and the White Pine Trail. The kitchen goes well past pretzels (handmade burgers, sandwiches, tacos, full entrées) and the summer patio is one of the few places downtown where you eat with the water in front of you. Local musicians play the room regularly. Open from 11 a.m. Wednesday through Sunday, from 3 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.

Rockford Brewing Company has been on East Bridge Street since 2011, a microbrewery and restaurant about twenty minutes north of downtown Grand Rapids. The taphouse sits next to the Rogue River, and the summer patio opens onto the water. The same back of the building faces the White Pine Trail.
The food menu is grouped the way a kitchen actually cooks: starters, salads and chili, tacos, burgers, sandwiches, and entrées. Dinner is seven days a week. Lunch is Wednesday through Sunday, which is also when the door opens at 11 a.m. Monday and Tuesday start at 3. Desserts rotate. Takeout and delivery are on the same menu.
A drink bought here can leave with you. Their own pages put the Rockford Outdoor Refreshment Area at noon to 10 p.m. daily, and they list beer, cider, wine, sangria, slushies, root beer, and mocktails as what you can carry into the district. Live music is on their event calendar. The second floor is a private rental if you need the room.
